If you have never experienced dementia first hand it is hard to see your loved one slip away years before they pass away. Forget how to do simple daily tasks, forget family members, or even worse forget that those loved ones had passed away and when you try and "remind" them go through all the feelings of loss over again. See them lose their ability to be independent and care for themselves.  

 

We have met so many amazing people and caregivers along the way, and we are so grateful for the love and care they show to those in their most vulnerable stage of life.  Shelley and the whole Holisticare Homes care team have been amazing. Showing love and kindness to a stranger and their family in a time when we were going through a emotional time of preparing for the passing of our Grandmother.  There around the clock to ensure Grandma was cared for, and being a listening ear when we needed to talk and remember the good times with Grandma.  We highly recommend Holisticare Homes if you or a family member is in need of Holistic care.
